Port Elgin No. 429 & St. Lawrence No. 131 Donate to the Food Bank

 On April 18, 2023, Port Elgin Lodge No. 429 & St. Lawrence Lodge No. 131 made a $1000 donation to the local Food Bank.  The money was raised from the Grey Cup & Super Bowl Party hosted by both Lodges in November 2022 and February 2023.  Pictured (from left to right): W. The Extinguishing of the Lights at Maple Leaf Lodge No. 362, Tara

     On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the Lights were Extinguished at the Altar of Maple Leaf Lodge No. 362, Tara.  The Lodge Room was full with 17 Lodge Members and 38 Visitors for a total of 55 Masons Present.  R.W. Bro. Jamie R. Ireland, Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario officiated over the Ceremony assisted by: R.W. Bro. Hugh Fleming, acting as Director of Ceremonies, R.W. Bro. Peter W. Kritz, District Deputy Grand Master of Bruce District, V.W. Bro. John Stewart, Grand Steward of Bruce District, and W. Bro. Murray Arnold, Worshipful Master of Maple Leaf Lodge No. 362, Tara.  After the Ceremony the Brethren retired to the Arkwright Hall for Refreshments and Fellowship.  Pictured front row (left to right): Bro.
